The Practice of Preparation

For many of us there will be times when it is hard to keep to the path and stay true to an ongoing revolution. There will be difficult moments, because that is how life flows. It helps if we can make peace with this truth and accept it, because then we can be more prepared and hold on to our center during tough times.

Having a good set of habits and sticking to them gives us a foundation in our lives. Make it a practice to give time to activities that feed your mind, body and soul each day. Sticking to your good habits is like keeping a savings account:  when challenging times come, you'll have enough accumulated spiritual resources to see you through.

Action To Take

Work a habit that adds to your "body and soul savings account" today. Meditate, practice yoga, get into nature, read something soulful—whatever centers and nourishes you.
