The role

This role reports to the Program Supervisor on the Program Team. This team delivers the transformational Baptiste Yoga program experience (Level 1, Level 2, Level 3, or Fit To Lead). Personal development is at the core of our team’s initiatives and pillars of integrity, participation, and service are the foundation of the work we do.

The Host is the first point of contact for participants, and is the representative from Program Team that is in contact with the venue. This person is highly personable, organized, and can problem solve with grace. They have the ability to respond to in-the-moment needs, and are agile in their support – no job is too big or too small.

Responsibilities

  • Greet all participants upon arrival, presenting with welcome packages and any required information
  • Main point of contact on-site for participant-facing services – handle participant inquiries efficiently and professionally (examples include accounting for participants who are absent from session, providing directions, etc.),
  • With Program Supervisor, understand participant needs (dietary restrictions, accommodations, etc.) and ensure these requirements are met
  • Liaise with Program Supervisor to ensure program logistics are fulfilled (examples include event setup, prepping upcoming session locations – clearing and room setup).

Qualifications & Experience

  • Completed Baptiste Institute Program Team Training
  • Ideally, able to commit to a minimum of 3-4 programs a year for a two year timeframe
  • Excellent interpersonal skills
  • A team player willing to support planning and execution in any way – no task is too small
  • Requires resilience and stamina to sustain multi-day events with long days and possible time zone changes
  • Ability to travel for work including weekends and holidays
  • Commitment to personal wellness and supporting the team in wellness practices
