The role

This role facilitates organizing and implementing all aspects of Baptiste Yoga weeklong programs, including managing the Program Team. This team delivers the transformational Baptiste Yoga program experience (Level 1, Level 2, Level 3, or Fit To Lead). The face of the Program Team to participants and venue, this role is extremely professional, organized, guest-centric and detail-oriented. The Program Supervisor leads the Program Team during planning, implementation, and packing & wrap-up. This role works closely with the Baptiste Institute to understand venue and participant needs prior to program. Beyond event management, the Program Supervisor understands program flow and uses incredible foresight so Program Team is set up a step ahead and the participant experience is one of seamlessly transitioning from start to finish.

Responsibilities

  • Manage entire program implementation including logistics, team direction, and session execution
  • Manage onsite relationships, including program team, venues, external photographer/videographer (if applicable) to achieve optimal participant experiences
  • Main point of contact on-site for logistics and problem resolution. Identify potential risks to program execution, ensuring Baptiste Institute facilitator and remote team are briefed on issues, and provide resolution and develop contingency plans
  • With Baptiste Institute, understand participant needs (dietary restrictions, accommodations, etc.) and ensure these requirements are met
  • Manage sponsor relationships ensuring contract adherence to visibility and presence
  • Work with the Baptiste Institute communications team for social media needs
  • Act as program team lead onsite. Host pre and post-program meetings and ensure onsite team is briefed on roles and responsibilities.
  • With Baptiste Institute, responsible for post-event reconciliation with the venue
  • Track and maintain an inventory of program equipment and supplies

Qualifications & Experience

  • Previous experience in event management a major asset
  • Ideally, able to commit to a minimum of 3-4 programs a year for a two-year timeframe
  • Completed Baptiste Institute Program Team Training
  • A team player willing to support planning and execution in any way – no task is too small
  • Strong interpersonal skills
  • Requires resilience and stamina to sustain multi-day events with long days and possible time zone changes
  • Ability to travel for work including weekends and holidays
  • Commitment to personal wellness and supporting the team in wellness practices
