Trainer Bio

Libby Ramsey will light you up! When she finds something good, it HAS to be shared with others – and this is why she brought Baptiste Power Yoga to Greensboro by opening Dancing Dogs in 2013. Her super power is bringing out the best in people – coaching them to do things they NEVER thought possible. She often tells her students “my intention for you is that you leave with more energy than you came in with; even in a tired body, you will be LIT UP!” Libby is a former Division I college athlete and she came to Baptiste Yoga for the athletic, challenging, physical practice. She found that she was energized by the impact that the practice and community of possibility, growth and working at her “edge” had on her life, so Libby became a teacher and made a career out of transforming lives. Libby is the owner of Dancing Dogs Yoga Greensboro and is a Certified Baptiste Power Yoga Instructor. She is an ERYT-200 and has trained with The Baptiste Power Yoga Institute for Level 1 (2009), Level 2 (2010), Level 3 (2014), Art of Assisting (2012 & Assisting Team 2014), Advanced Art of Assisting (2015), Being of Power (assisting team 2016), Art of True North Alignment assisting team (2017), and All Day Immersions in NYC (Assisting Team 2013) and Charleston (2013). She has also trained with Sage Roundtree for Teaching Yoga for Athletes (2010), and YogaOne Wellness for Teacher Assistant Training (2009). She completed Aerial Yoga teacher training with Circusoul Yoga (2017).

When she’s not formally lighting up yogis, you can find Libby running, cooking, traveling, and chasing children. She lives in Greensboro with her husband Rick and their kids Scott, Margot and Jenna. One day, she’ll take the whole family to live at the beach – where you’ll find her practicing her favorite pose, Bound Half Moon, with her toes in the sand.
