Jane Viscolosi, Providence RI

Tier 3 Certified Baptiste Power Vinyasa Yoga Teacher and Certified Influencer

Jane has been practicing Baptiste Power Vinyasa Yoga since 2002, teaching since 2004, and training teachers in the Baptiste method since 2012. Jane recently completed a year long leadership program, Fit To Lead, with Baron Baptiste graduating April 2019.

While teaching the physical practice designed by Baron Baptiste over 20 years ago, Jane incorporates the complimenting methodology; the what Baptiste yoga is, the why we do Baptiste yoga, the how we practice this yoga, the pillars of the practice, and so much more. As Jane says, ‘there is so much that I have learned and now so much to be shared’.

Jane’s personal experience with Baptiste yoga has been life changing and life anchoring. ‘I had no idea when I walked into my first Baptiste class that it would lead me on this path, and to this place of: deep passion for the practice, utmost respect and gratitude for my teacher Baron, and deep love for the Baptiste community of certified teachers all over the world.

When Jane is not teaching or practicing yoga, she works for LiUNA New England Region, in the field of Construction Health & Safety. Jane is an OSHA Outreach Trainer, American Heart Association Heartsaver CPR/AED/First Aid Instructor, Certified Occupational Hearing Conservationist (COHC), Certified Health Coach through IIN The Institute for Integrative Nutrition. Jane has lived in RI all of her life. She graduated from The University of Rhode Island with a BS degree in Business Administration/Communications.

Jane lives in RI with her husband Larry and their ‘girls’ Zoe a 10 year old yellow lab, and Gabi a 3 year old cockapoo.
